Terms of use

1. Service publisher

TradeCircle is a community service that helps players trade cards, available on the website and the mobile app (together, the “Service”). The publisher of the Service is not the publisher of the relevant game, nor a licensee, partner, subsidiary or agent of that publisher.

2. Purpose

TradeCircle lets you browse a card catalog, declare a collection (missing, owned, duplicate), receive reciprocal trade matches, follow offers through dual confirmation within 72 hours, and — when the module is enabled — open public reward links.

TradeCircle is a matching and tracking tool. In-game items are exchanged inside the game itself. TradeCircle does not transfer, store or deliver any virtual goods.

3. Independence and intellectual property of the games

In line with the project’s editorial rules, TradeCircle is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed by the game’s publisher, its subsidiaries, licensees or partners.

Without exception:

• trademarks, logos, trade names, trade dress, mascots, official artwork, protected screenshots, palettes and visual universes of the game remain the exclusive property of their rights holders;
• TradeCircle does not use those elements to present itself as an official service, nor to reproduce the publisher’s visual identity;
• TradeCircle’s identity (name, “TC” mark, violet and coral on a paper ground, interface) is original and distinct from any publisher brand;
• card, village or set names shown in the catalog are community identifiers for matching. They confer no rights over the game’s works, characters or mechanics, and are not a reproduction of official assets;
• reward links, when offered, point to public pages already published by the publisher. TradeCircle does not host that content and claims no authorship of it.

Any functional resemblance (collectible cards, villages, rarities) describes a play practice; it implies no licence, partnership or endorsement.

4. The game’s own terms

Each user remains solely responsible for complying with the terms of use, community rules and anti-cheat policies of the relevant game. TradeCircle does not authorise, organise or guarantee any circumvention of those rules, any sale of items for real money, any account trading, or any automation of the game.

5. Catalog access and account

The catalog (games, listed villages, cards) and public reward links can be used without an account. Declaring a collection, matching, trade offers, profile and reports require registration.

You may create an account with email and password (8 characters minimum) or via an identity provider (Google, Apple, Facebook) when those logins are available. You agree to provide accurate information, choose a non-impersonating username, and not to pose as the game’s publisher, an official moderator or another user.

The Service is intended for people who have reached the digital age of consent in their country (15 in France). A minor may use TradeCircle only with the agreement of their legal representative.

6. Collection, matching and trades

You declare the status of your cards under your sole responsibility. A match appears only if it is reciprocal, and only on villages still active in the catalog. An offer, an acceptance, then dual confirmation of in-game receipt (within 72 hours) are required to close a trade. Silence or conflict may go to moderation.

TradeCircle does not guarantee the other player’s good faith, the availability of a card in the game, or the outcome of a trade. Reputation (ratings) and reliability (confirmation rate) are distinct scores and are indicative only.

7. User-published content

You must not publish, upload or circulate, including in a report, a comment or a community post:

• official logos, artwork, graphic packs, screenshots or audio-video excerpts of the publisher used as if TradeCircle were official, or beyond a mere descriptive reference;
• defamatory, hateful, pornographic, violent or harassing content, or content that invades privacy;
• game login data, codes, account credentials, or any information that would let someone seize a third party’s account;
• advertising, spam, or offers to buy or sell items or accounts for real money.

You keep your rights in your texts. You grant TradeCircle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display them for the Service, for as long as they remain online.

8. Moderation

TradeCircle may remove content, suspend or close an account, resolve a trade dispute (confirm, cancel, update collections) and act on a report. Those decisions protect the community; they are not a judgement on the game or its publisher.

9. Rewards module

When the module is on, TradeCircle aggregates already public links. Clicking a link takes you off the Service to a third-party site. TradeCircle is not responsible for the content, availability, terms or any benefit of those pages.

10. Availability and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. Interruptions, matching errors or moderation delays may occur. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TradeCircle is not liable for lost in-game progress, missed trades, third-party content, or indirect damage.

11. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.

12. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page prevails. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account as described in the privacy policy. TradeCircle may discontinue all or part of the Service, including if keeping the catalog is no longer compatible with rights-holder interests.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. After an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent French courts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
